ABOUT

Pool Barrier Inspect has VBA registered Building Inspectors – Pool safety. It was a natural progression for us to form Pool Barrier Inspect as we have had a lifetime around pools plus operating a pool and spa service business combined with a pool shop for over 15 years.

We understand the complexity of older pools and the newest ones covering the many standards which apply to these pools/spas.

Visiting people’s homes daily gives us great knowledge of pool barriers which are an integral part of all pools and spas. Compliance is the goal of making sure your pool or spa is safe as possible for your family and friends to enjoy with our friendly service and knowledge assisting you along the way.

WHAT WE DO

A pool that needs an inspection to make sure it is safe.

Pool Barrier Audit

Initial Inspection will be to conduct an audit on the barrier with a report. If the barrier is compliant without the need for any works or maintenance a form 23 Compliance certificate will be issued for the owner to submit to local council.

Reports

We will provide a report if any corrections are required and explain these to you on the day. Video will also be held on file at our office as a legal requirement of records kept.

Path to Certification

After the Inspection has been conducted and in the event of the barrier requiring further corrective works to obtain a compliance certificate, a report will be generated outlining any areas of concern and explain these as best possible. Whilst advice does not form a part of our service, we are able and happy to suggest possible solutions. 60 days is allowed to have these corrections completed with a reinspection required within this timeframe.

SERVICE COST

Initial Inspection $290 Plus GST

Re Inspection if required $140 Plus GST

PAYMENT TERMS

We accept credit cards Master Card/Visa and can be paid on the day of inspection or prior to the inspection via phone call or email. Receipt will be included with the report which will be emailed or posted to the pool owner.

Client Testimonials

Paul's support in achieving compliance for our pool fencing was amazing. He thouroughly assessed our barriers against the relevant code and identified necessary remedial works. He was clear and efficient, making it a simple no fuss process. The submission of the certificate of compliance he provided, was also  easily lodged through the local councils portal.
